2020 is my year to become a pearl-gatherer and explorer of thoughts and imagination.

It’s time to deep-dive into whatever touches my soul and stirs my curiosity.  Figuratively speaking of course.  Where are my swimmers by the way?

Like the pearl-gatherers, I’m hankering for that perfect pearl.  The one that says, ‘I’ve been waiting here for you to find me.’

I’ve thought long and hard over this.  I love what I do, so why would I want to change?  I don’t.  Conversely, why wouldn’t I want to challenge myself to take what I do in a slightly different direction this year?

‘I think 99 times and find nothing.  I stop thinking, swim in silence and the truth comes to me.’  Albert Einstein

Pearl bearing molluscs live at depths not easily accessible, so does whatever I’m looking for.

So I need to explore, scrutinize, study, review, and probe – then, I’m going to swim in silence. The answer will come, I know it will.

My swimmers are coming out and I’m jumping in.

Do you need to deep-dive too?  Is what you’re after not a change so much as a challenge – to yourself?  Dive in.

That pearl is going to be mine!
