WIP – or, work in progress.
Taking these images is important. Why?
You’re recording progress and giving yourself time to take a breather to evaluate your work as it grows. Is it successful or is there something that’s not quite right and able to be fixed before it’s too late?
It gives you time to make changes.
But wait, there’s more.
Work-in-progress images are great for your social media. Creating new content is not always easy, but this could be what you become known for – showing how your work evolves, day by day or step by step.
Then when the work is completed, you have these images – from start to finish- to be used to create even more content in the form of still-image movies or for those more tech-savvy than me, reels.
From start to finish.
You have a record of inspiration and the initial concept right through to the finished product.
But you also have a chronicle of your process from start to finish – and you can see it evolve, image by image.
So, by taking the time to take one image after each workday, you gain an archive of your work, your process and enough content to keep any social media account thriving in the right community.
All from taking one image each day.
